Senior Change Manager, Ashoka


Erin launched Ashoka U with the goal of supporting colleges and universities everywhere to become hubs of social innovation. Today, the network has grown to 300 colleges and universities representing 30 countries. Before coming to Ashoka in 2008, Erin served as Program Director for Escuela Nueva International, a partner of Ashoka Fellow Vicky Colbert. Prior to Escuela Nueva, Erin evaluated program effectiveness for MobileMetrix, a community-based data collection company in Brazil, and as an Eben Tisdale Fellow, contributed to Hewlett Packard’s Global Citizenship Program. Erin holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University. Erin and her co-founder, Marina Kim, have been recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs, and Ashoka U was selected as one of 50 proven solutions of the “Change Nation” campaign in Ireland to co-create a strategy for Ireland’s renewal. Erin serves on the Board of the Amani Institute and Watson University, which are both designing new educational models for social innovators.
